What home shortcuts are
Your administrator (or you, when allowed) can pin important screens on Home. Tapping a shortcut opens that page immediately.

Open Home from the side menu or bottom bar.

Pick the shortcut that matches your task.
Customize (when allowed)
Some deployments let you rearrange or add personal shortcuts. If you do not see edit controls, only an admin can change the layout for your role.
